This premier, long-running, family friendly event offers an Olympic distance triathlon, sprint distance triathlon, Olympic distance duathlon and a sprint distance duathlon. Relay teams are also encouraged for all 4 events. The swim portion of the triathlons take place on the clean waterfront of Lake Michigan. The bike course is one of the smoother courses you'll enjoy and takes athletes out and back on Lakeshore Drive and the run will take place on the popular boardwalk along the scenic riverfront. The transition area, finish line, post race awards and picnic take place at Mulligan's Hollow, adjacent to the Tri Cities Family YMCA. The Grand Haven Triathlon is also a featured event on the West Michigan Triathlon Series and offers a discount to Series' participants.
A pre-race expo will be held on Saturday, July 11, 2020 at the Tri Cities Family YMCA. This will run from 1:00PM to 5:00PM. Athletes can pick up their race packet, get body marked, late register, view course maps, and get directions from the race director. Sponsors and vendors will also be there sharing their products and/or services. All participants will receive a cow bell, "dri-fit" tech shirt, ice cold finisher towel (with logo),die cast finisher medal, glassware awards for overall and age group winners, free post race picnic and assistance from over 200 enthusiastic volunteers.
